Membership Introduction
Dear Members and Future Members of The Pan Arab Vascular Surgical Society,
Our non-profit society represents a vital community of surgeons, researchers, and healthcare professionals dedicated to advancing the field of vascular surgery and improving patient care across the Arab world. Our membership includes vascular specialists from within and outside the Arab world who are collaborating to achieve the goals of our society.
With the conclusion of our 4th annual meeting last December in Amman which was a great scientific gathering, it became apparent that we are at the dawn of a new stage of the development of our society.
The board of directors had extensive discussions regarding our growth in the next few years. We are all encouraged by the amazing interest we felt from members and their willingness to be involved in all activities. Of special note are our younger colleagues and trainees who share our vision that PAVSS will support and advocate for their professional development.
On behalf of the board of directors, I assure you that we will spare no effort to advance the society standing as an international major scientific organisation in the field of vascular surgery that gives us all pride to be members.
We have recently joined the world federation of vascular societies and are establishing collaborations with major international players like the ESVS, the SVS, Charing cross, Veith and others.
The benefits of membership will be immense including benefiting from our educational activities, annual meetings, the upcoming review course for trainees, special rates and discounts from the collaborators above, exposure on the international level, and developing connections for further training across the globe.
As part of organising the membership including membership certificates we will be asking you to join the society formally through the registration form on the website. We have taken into consideration the different economic status of members in different parts of the world and such kept the fees to a minimum nominal annual payment depending where you practice.
I greatly encourage you to join the society which will be working for you. I thank the board of directors, supporters, friends and colleagues who are an impressive group of imminent international experts donating thier time and efforts for the benefit of all. I encourage all members to remain actively engaged in the society’s initiatives, scientific meetings, and collaborative projects.
Your participation strengthens our shared mission and contributes to the continued success and influence of our community.
Thank you for your dedication to the field of vascular surgery and for your commitment to the society.
Yours sincerely
Dr. Mamoun Albasheer
President of PAVSS
